The Money Laundering Store is a Dad The Accountant product. This page explains the launch signup, not the game itself.

The game launch list

Submitting the form asks us to email you when the game launches. We store your email address, signup timestamps, the signup source, and the version of the signup notice. We use this list for the game’s launch notification, not to subscribe you to other publications.

The optional column

The Dad The Accountant checkbox is off by default. If you tick it and successfully join the game list, we record your interest and load Substack’s official signup form in a separate panel. We do not pass your game-list email address into that form. You enter your email on Substack’s form to finish subscribing. Ticking the box alone does not create or confirm a Substack subscription. When the embedded form loads, your browser connects to Substack, which may process technical information and use cookies under its own privacy policy. Substack handles the column subscription and its unsubscribe controls.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the launch list in a private database. Cloudflare also processes technical request information to deliver and protect the site. The signup uses your IP address for rate limiting, but does not store it in the launch-list database. We do not put email addresses in application logs or provide a public way to read the list.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance statistics, such as page views, popular pages, referrers, countries, browsers, devices, and page-loading performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not collect or use personal data for these reports.

The optional embedded Substack form is a separate third-party service, as described above. No payments are collected on this version of the site.

To ask us to remove or correct your launch-list entry, or for any other questions or issues, email hi@dadthe.accountant. For launch-list requests, please include the email address you used to sign up. Column unsubscribe requests are handled separately by Substack.
